Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to be on the forefront developing cutting edge highly scalable Java-based enterprise web systems. You'll contribute directly to all phases of development and collaborate closely with other members of the engineering team. Work along side of experimental AI research. For the right person, this is a unique and well-funded start-up opportunity.

 

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of Java software engineering experience
• Experience building scalable web applications using J2EE technologies (JSP, servlets, transactions, POJO)
• Product delivery a RDBM/DBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle or alike) environment
• Excitement to build something new and work aggressively to meet new goals
• BSCS & Excellent communication skills
• Good understanding of major design patterns
• US citizenship or permanent resident

 

A plus

• Product development in web technologies HTML, JavaScript & XML
• Understanding of basic Internet protocols as well as related tools and technologies (e.g. web servers, web browsers)
• Basic knowledge of network architectures and network programming as in Remote Procedure Calls (RPC)
• Engineering or computer science degree
• Experience working w/ streaming content in Windows Media, Real Media, QuickTime and/or Flash
• Familiarity building interactive web elements in Ajax and/or Flash
